Today is work/life balance day in Ireland. How sinister! When did work "officially" become distinct from -- separate to -- life? By subscribing to this concept, aren't we tacitly accepting that for most of our waking hours we are, in a sense, dead? Me, I strive for a life that has a good work/leisure balance. Of late, I confess, that balance has been skewed in favour of leisure. Wheee!
